Terms of Service

Clear scope, evidence standards, service fees and remedies for on-site tasks in China.

Updated 2026-11-02

1. Agreement & service provider

GetChinaHelp is the service brand. Before accepting payment, the written task confirmation must identify the contracting provider, legal name, business address and contact details. Browsing or sending an inquiry does not create a booking. A booking requires your written acceptance of scope, price and these terms. You must be at least 18 and authorised to instruct us.

2. Scope & travel

We carry out agreed visits and sampled, non-destructive visual checks. Execution bases in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Yiwu, Shenzhen, Beijing and Guangzhou. Confirm the site address, access, schedule and any travel costs in writing before payment. Live inspection: $249 for a 3-hour window or $399 for 6 hours, with the English report within 24 hours after the session. Recorded inspection: $179, about 2 hours on site, report within 48 hours. Live factory audit: $499, report within 48 hours. Live slots are agreed between 14:00 and 22:00 Beijing time (UTC+8), subject to supplier access. We do not provide laboratory tests, certifications or guarantees of supplier performance.

3. Service fee only

Service fees only. Goods payments go directly to your supplier. Goods, samples, freight, duties and supplier deposits must be paid directly by you to the relevant supplier or carrier. No goods-money advance, pooled balance or exception is offered. The confirmation lists the service fee, currency, travel or admission costs, taxes and payment method. Work starts after written acceptance and agreed service payment. No additional service charge is incurred without your approval.

4. Your instructions & permissions

Provide accurate locations, contacts, product references, permissions, inspection criteria and deadlines. Obtain authority to share third-party information and arrange lawful entry or filming permission. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents. We may decline illegal, unsafe, deceptive, restricted or unauthorised work. We do not falsify evidence or impersonate you.

5. Evidence & delivery

The written scope controls the shot list, sample size, report format, language and delivery deadline. Standard evidence tasks include recorded video, overview and detail photos, an English findings summary and a 15-minute Q&A within 48 hours of handover, unless the confirmation specifies a different package. Advertised windows are estimates following the agreed visit or receipt of required items, not a promise from inquiry time. Access restrictions and unchecked items are disclosed.

6. Inspection limits & decisions

A visual or sampled check records what was accessible at that place and time. It is not a laboratory test, full-batch inspection, product safety certification, factory audit certification, legal opinion or guarantee of supplier performance. Concealed defects, later substitutions and supplier statements may remain unverified. We distinguish observations from supplier claims. You decide whether to buy, pay, ship or commission independent testing.

7. Changes, cancellation & refunds

If site connectivity interrupts the live inspection for more than 30 minutes and cannot be restored, we convert it to the $179 recorded inspection and refund the difference. If the supplier refuses access or cancels, we agree any replacement work with you first; fees cover only work already completed and authorised, never more than the service fee paid, and the unused balance is refunded. If we cancel, we refund in full. Client cancellation and rescheduling costs must be disclosed in writing before payment.

8. Missing items & remedies

Tell us promptly which agreed checklist item is missing and keep the original files. For filming that misses the agreed shot list, one corrective re-shoot is free where lawful access can be arranged. If correction is impossible, we agree an appropriate service-fee refund for the affected work. This does not remove mandatory remedies or impose a shorter statutory claim period.

9. Confidentiality & file rights

Your briefs and non-public supplier information are used to fulfil the task and shared only as necessary. After payment you may use and share the delivered report for your business decisions, subject to third-party rights, privacy and venue restrictions. Original third-party materials retain their owners’ rights. We do not publish identifiable client evidence as marketing without permission. Download your delivery files; any hosting expiry is stated at handover. Inspection recordings are available for download for at least 90 days after delivery; we state the link expiry at handover. We do not publish identifiable client evidence without permission.

10. Events outside reasonable control

Extreme weather, travel disruption, public-health restrictions, venue closure, power or network failures, government action or similar events may delay access or delivery. We notify you, mitigate where reasonable and propose a revised plan. If completion becomes impossible, either party may end the remaining work; unearned service fees are refunded and documented completed work is reconciled. This clause does not excuse avoidable failure or override mandatory law.

11. Responsibility & liability

We use reasonable care in the agreed work and remain responsible for our own contractual obligations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for an affected task is limited to its service fee and excludes indirect loss, lost profit and supplier or carrier performance outside our control. No exclusion applies to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that cannot legally be excluded. These limits do not guarantee that every jurisdiction will enforce them.

12. Concerns, applicable law & updates

Contact us first with your task reference and the outcome sought so we can investigate. The contracting provider and any agreed governing law or dispute forum must be stated in the written confirmation before payment; mandatory consumer protections and access to competent courts remain available. These terms do not select an undisclosed jurisdiction. Updated terms apply to future bookings; existing confirmed tasks keep the version accepted unless both parties agree otherwise. English and Chinese are provided for accessibility; mandatory local law prevails over conflicting wording.
