How task briefs, contact details and delivery evidence are handled.

Updated 2026-11-02

1. Who is responsible

GetChinaHelp is the brand operating this website and coordinating inquiries. Contact the email below for privacy questions. The legal provider and business address must be identified in your written confirmation before a paid task; ask for that identity before sharing sensitive material. This notice covers this website and task communications, not the independent practices of suppliers or linked platforms.

2. Information you provide

A brief may include your name, email, optional messaging handle, city, product links, task instructions, budget and date. The on-page form identifies required fields, including contact details, supplier city, package, order stage, time zone and inspection concerns. Other channels may request different details. During a task we may receive supplier contacts, authorised recordings, shipment references and service-payment records. Do not include sensitive personal data unless essential and separately agreed.

3. What the website does

When you submit the on-page enquiry form, the details you enter are sent to this website and stored in GetChinaHelp’s inquiry database. A successful request returns a reference and creates an internal workflow record and notification-outbox record. Authorised staff can view the enquiry through a protected admin area; operational notification or email providers may receive the information needed to alert the team. Receipt means the form reached the service; it is not confirmation of a booking, price or payment. You may separately choose to copy the submitted details, open an email draft, continue by WhatsApp or use a Google-hosted form. Those providers process information you choose to send under their own terms. The public site does not set cookies or use browser storage; the admin sign-in uses a secure, HttpOnly session cookie and no advertising trackers or analytics SDKs are integrated. Language follows the page address (/zh for Chinese). Hosting systems may process IP addresses, request metadata and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

4. Purposes & legal bases

We use contact and task information to answer requests, assess feasibility, quote, coordinate execution and deliver evidence. Where applicable, these are steps requested before a contract or necessary to perform it. Service-payment records may be kept for legal accounting duties. Limited security and dispute records support legitimate interests in protecting the service and resolving claims, balanced against your rights. Optional publicity or marketing requires separate permission where required; inquiry is not marketing consent.

5. Recipients & third parties

Only relevant information is shared with necessary supplier contacts, email or file-delivery providers, and payment providers for service fees. Providers may act as independent controllers under their own notices. We may disclose records when legally required or to establish or defend claims. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. You pay goods suppliers directly; we do not collect their payment credentials for you. Live-call and recording providers receive the footage needed for delivery; recording and filming permissions are confirmed before the visit.

6. Cross-border handling

Tasks take place in China and may require relevant information to be accessed there. Email, hosting, payment or file providers may process data in other countries. Before a restricted transfer we must assess the applicable rules and establish the required lawful mechanism and safeguards; using this site is not blanket consent to a transfer. Ask us for destination and safeguard details before sharing restricted information.

7. Retention & deletion

We retain inquiry records only while needed to answer and follow up the request; task evidence while needed for delivery, agreed corrections and legitimate claims; and accounting records for the applicable statutory period. Exact delivery-link expiry is stated at handover. Actual retention depends on task completion, disputes and legal duties. Request deletion or a task-specific retention explanation by email. Required legal records and protected backups may remain until their lawful retention or rotation ends. Inspection recordings are available for download for at least 90 days after delivery; we state the link expiry at handover. We do not publish identifiable client evidence without permission.

8. Security & confidential material

Use only necessary information and approved delivery channels. Access should be limited to people who need it for the task; confidential reports must not be published as examples without authorisation. No internet or email system is completely secure. If you suspect accidental disclosure, contact us immediately. Where required, affected individuals and authorities will be notified of a qualifying breach.

9. Your rights & objections

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent is used you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email us with your request; we may reasonably verify identity and will respond within applicable legal time limits. You may complain to your local data protection authority, including the ICO in the UK where relevant. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

10. Children & updates

The service is intended for adults conducting lawful tasks, not children under 18. Contact us if a child has provided personal information so it can be assessed and removed where appropriate. Material changes to this notice will be dated here and, where necessary, communicated before new processing begins.
